It truly was a great example of how important the Carpenters In Action committee is to the community, recently, when members of Local 50 helped out a family in need.
The homeowner, who is a double amputee, and her son, a single amputee, needed boards replaced on their home’s wheelchair ramp.
When Local 50 members heard about their plight, not only did they quickly volunteer to do the project, but they also pitched in to collectively purchase the building materials.
The four-hour project was completed by Larry Rosenbalm, Chris Brackett, Tony Blivens, Ralph Wynn and Rick Bolinger, as well as future carpenter, Braxton Bolinger!
Thank you, Local 50!
