The Mid-South Carpenters Regional Council has a long history of representing the best interests of our members – not only on workplace issues such as wages and safety, but also in the areas of training and advancement. We understand that today’s workplace is a highly competitive environment, and that we must continually help our members learn and master the skills they need to excel on the job. We also understand the importance of helping our members maintain a professional image and the respect that comes along with that.
As an affiliate of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, the MSCRC governs and provides direction to 6 individual local unions and their approximate 6,000 members throughout Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee, as well as in parts of western North Carolina, northern Georgia, eastern Arkansas, and the Florida panhandle. We are the voice for thousands of the Mid-South’s most skilled carpenters, cabinetmakers, piledrivers, lathers, framers, floorlayers, roofers, drywallers and workers in forest products and related industries. Our core mission is to improve the lives of our members and their families.
